Before Studying

Once you have been admitted to the AFEPA Master’s Programme, you have to get familiar with travel, residence and study permit documents. You have to get informed about health insurance, opening a bank account, accommodation, contact details for first year students and much more. The AFEPA consortium assists all admitted students and you will receive specific information from your first-year university.

Here, you also find information on tuition and administrative fees as well as on financing possibilities.

Visa

All Non-European students have to apply for a visa. Please check with your nearest embassy / consulate of the country where you study the first year.

Make sure that your passport is valid for the entire duration of two years to study in the AFEPA programme.

To get the visa, you have to prove that you have sufficient financial resources available to guarantee maintenance throughout the duration of the Master’s programme. The amount to be proved depends on the country of your first-year university. The AFEPA coordination office will send you a letter of acceptance into the Master’s programme after final acceptance by e-mail. Your first-year university will send you an admission letter.

Insurance

All students must have a health insurance during their two-year study period. More information can be found in the Handbook.
