The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has selected this year's winners of the Japan International Award for Young Agricultural Researchers (Japan Award). Among the three winners is Dr. Martin Paul Tabe-Ojong - a former PhD student of the Chair for Economic and Agricultural Policy.
His research about "Improving Smallholder Commercialization and Reducing Poverty through the Adoption of Improved Crop Varieties in Africa" was honored with the Japan Award for his outstanding achievements and research results.
