I have a background in Environmental and Resource Management and a focus on the tropics and subtropics. My work at the PhenoRob Cluster of Excellence evolves around feasibility and impacts of digital innovations in agriculture that can contribute to more sustainable crop production. I also work on topics related to conservation, land use change and development economics. I use a range of different empirical methods including meta-analyses and (quasi-) experimental impact evaluation.
