Advanced CGE Modeling
Team
Both instructors are seasoned CGE modelers. Yaghoob Jafari focuses on trade analysis and has published inter alia peer-reviewed papers which explore different methodological solutions to improve the analysis of trade policy instuments in CGE analysis and contributed to the code of CGEBox in this field. Wolfgang Britz is the core developer of CGEBox, GTAP research fellow 2019-2022 and has extensively published in the field of economic modelling. Both have ample experience in teaching master courses in the field of agricultural economics.
